How to Change the Eye Color on FotoFlexer

FotoFlexer can fix red-eye or change eye color.

FotoFlexer is a free online utility that allows pictures to be manipulated through the Web browser. With FotoFlexer, you can enhance and modify photos by retouching and removing blemishes, add special effects and apply color changes such as changing the color of the eyes in a photo. Use FotoFlexer to change the eye color in a picture if you need to fix a red-eye problem, want to enhance the natural color of the eye or just want to create an artistic effect.

Instructions

1. Browse to the FotoFlexer website using the link in the "References" section. Click the "Upload Photo" button in the upper-right corner of the screen. Browse to the location of the photo that you would like to modify, and double click it. The photo is uploaded to FotoFlexer, and you are taken to a new screen showing what the photo looks like.

2. Click the "Basic" tab at the top of the screen, then click the "Fix Red Eye" button. If the photo does not have a red-eye problem, skip to Step 4.

3. Click the middle of each eye in the photo. For large photos, use the slider bar on the right side of the window to zoom in to the photo and make the eyes larger. Click the "Done" button when you are finished.

4. Click the "Geek" tab at the top of the window, then click the "Smart Recolor" button.

5. Use the slider bar on the right side of the window to zoom in to the photo until the eyes become large, then click the box under "Color" to select the color that you would like to change the eyes to.

6. Click the dropdown menu under "Type" and select "Tint" or "Keep Hue" to realistically alter the color of the eyes without painting a solid cover over them.

7. Click the mouse pointer over the eyes in the photo until the new color is painted over the eyes to your liking.

8. Click the "Save" button at the top of the screen to save a copy of the altered photo on your computer.
