How to Create a Backup Hard Disk & Create a Bootable Recovery CD With Windows XP
Creating a backup copy of your hard disk and placing it on a bootable recovery CD will enable you to have a dual purpose backup and recovery tool for your computer, as you will be able to restore your hard drive from the backup or start your computer in the event that Windows XP refuses to initialize.
