Open uTorrent from the Start Menu by clicking on the "Start" button, opening "All Programs" and then clicking on "uTorrent."

Right-click on the "D:" letter in the lower right-hand corner of the uTorrent system window. This brings up the download speed limit menu, from which you can choose what download speed you want to use.

Increase your download speed limit from its currently selected option. Once you click on the new speed, the setting is saved and applied immediately.
