How to Set a Web Page As Home Page

Set a webpage as a home page.

Popular browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox have a feature that allows you to set the webpage that appears when you launch the browser. This can save you time if you go to the same page on a regular basis. To set your home page on your browser, it takes about two minutes.

Instructions

Internet Explorer

1. Launch Internet Explorer.

2. Surf to the page that you want as your home page.

3. Click "Tools" in the main menu bar. Scroll down and click "Options."

4. Hit the "General" tab. Hit the "Use Current" button.

5. Restart the browser.

Firefox

1. Launch Firefox.

2. Surf to the page that you want as your home page.

3. Click "Tools" in the main menu bar. Scroll down and click "Options."

4. Hit the "Main" tab. Hit the "Use Current Page" button.

5. Restart the browser.
