How To Send Out Mass Email
Sending out a mass email can be a time-saving way to stay in touch with people and inform them of important events. Whether it is a work memo or a notification of a baby's birth, mass email makes it possible to only write one email but send it to many people. There are several ways that a mass email can be sent, depending on the situation and your personal preferences.

1
Write the email you wish to send. Choose whether or not you want the email recipients to see each other on the email or only receive a copy of the message. The CC field means you will be sending a carbon copy of the email (everyone receiving the email can see who the email is sent to). The BCC field means that you will be sending a blind carbon copy of the email; the recipients only see their own names as receivers of the email. You can also just send the email in the To field, which will send everyone the original email while all recipients will be able to see who the email is sent to (much like CC).

2
Type the email address in the field or form you wish the recipient to receive email in. If you think that the recipient does not want her email address known to people, put her in the BCC field.

3
Add other addresses and separate the addresses with a comma. Make sure the addresses are exact or the email will not send.

Tips & Warnings
You can quickly send messages to multiple people by creating a group in your address book and sending mail to that entire group instead of adding addresses one at a time.
There is software for sending bulk email. This is for large groups of email.
There must be at least one recipient in the To field; you can get around this by making yourself the recipient.
The drawback to sending mass email is that a recipient may respond to the email and click Reply All, which sends the reply to all of the recipients.
