Befriending a Grand Vampire

Travel to community areas at night and look for the grand vampires, The Count and Contessa. You will recognize them by their clothes, pale skin and red eyes.

Talk to either the Count or Contessa to become friends with them. You'll want to build your relationship with the grand vampire up to 50 daily and 50 lifetime points.

Let the grand vampire bite you once you have built your friendship points up to the proper levels. You will now be a vampire.
Influencing a Grand Vampire

Travel to a community spot at night. Look for a grand vampire and another Sim you are friends with.

Talk to the grand vampire and use your conversation options to influence the vampire to bite your friend. It may be easier to convince the vampire to bite your friend than it would be to convince the vampire to bite you.

Wait for the vampire to bite your friend, then let your friend bite you. You will now be a vampire.
