How to Enclose a Patio
Patios and porches are enjoyable for an outdoor room. Family and friends have a place to visit and cook out. But sometimes we want extra privacy, or a sun block wall, or a breeze block. Things You'll Need
- Industrial 2-inch wide adhesive back velcro roll
- Staple gun and staples
- Canvas curtain panels
- Needle and thread

Outside curtains give privacy. Measure the top of the curtain panel and cut the Velcro to the same length. Apply the adhesive back side of the long piece of Velcro to the top inside edge of the patio or porch. Put staples in the ends and center to help hold the Velcro in place.

Apply the second piece of Velcro to the curtain. Sew the adhesive Velcro to the top of the curtain. Sewing the edges will give it added strength to hold on to the other Velcro.

Velcro will hold the curtains. Put the curtain Velcro onto the patio Velcro. Press all the way across the top to make sure it is attached. You have an instant privacy curtain, an instant sun block, or a breeze curtain block.
Apply them all the way around the patio porch as you need.

Tips & Warnings
Use canvas so that the curtain can withstand the elements. Place them where you need for sun or wind, or place all the way around from privacy.
