  1. Instructions

    • 1

Cut out a 3-inch by 7 1/2-inch piece of poster board in the shape of a rectangle.

    • 2

Cut a small round head on one of the shorter sides of the rectangle. Continue cutting the shape of a neck and sloping shoulders.

    • 3

Cut out the clothing for the doll. Cut a 6-inch square from festive gift wrapping paper or construction paper to make a robe. Make a sash by cutting black construction paper in a 6-inch by 3/8-inch rectangle.

    • 4

Use black paper to cut out a bob shaped wig. Cut a horizontal slit in the center of the wig to fit nicely on the doll's head. Place the hairpiece on top of the doll's head and secure it with tape.

    • 5

Use a black marker to draw on eyes, eyebrows and a nose. Use a red marker for the mouth.

    • 6

Place the body of the doll in the center of the paper robe from step 3. Fold down the extra top corners of the robe over the rounded shoulders of the doll. Wrap the paper around the body of the doll so that it looks like the doll is wearing a bath robe. Secure the robe by wrapping the black sash around the waist and taping it in place.
