How to Make a Banner on Neopets
One of the fun things about the online-gaming site Neopets is that you can customize your personal profile, even creating your own banners for the Neopets user page, personal shop or site guild. Creating a banner requires a little skill and patience, but once you've got your banner designed, Neopets makes it easy for you to add your banner to the site with simple HTML tutorials. You can draw a banner, or design one in your photo editing software.

Draw or paint a banner by hand. Include your favorite Neopet, user look-up information, shop title or guild name. Scan the complete image onto your hard drive by aligning it in your scanner, and save the image to your hard drive for editing.

Open your photo editing software program and import the design from the file you saved it to after scanning. This will allow you to crop it to the required size for use on the Neopets website. You can also design a banner in your photo editing software using clipart if you don't consider yourself an artist.

Set the banner width and height according to Neopets' regulations. Neopets requests that all banners be either 120x60 pixels or 468x60 pixels.

Save your image as a .jpg or .gif file.

Upload your banner image to a free image-sharing website like Flickr or Photobucket (see Resources), and capture the URL.

Insert the URL into the following HTML code: <img src="http://yourimageurlhere.com">
Add the HTML code to your shop, user page or guild dashboard and preview.
