Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
You must be using a PC to synchronize your e-mail with your handheld.

Step 2
When you installed the Palm Desktop, you should have been prompted with a Mail Setup wizard. If you set up your mail at this time, you're all set.
-
Step 3
Run Mail Setup if you don't have it set up or if you're not certain. It should be accessible when you choose Palm from the Programs menu. If not, locate it in your Palm folder.
-
Step 4
Choose the appropriate e-mail client. Be certain the e-mail client is set up as your default e-mail program.
-
Step 5
Click the HotSync Manager icon in the Windows task bar. Choose Custom, then be sure the Mail conduit is set to Synchronize.
-
Step 6
HotSync your device. Messages in the inbox of your desktop e-mail application should now be viewable on your Palm.
-
Step 1

Install your third-party e-mail program.
-
Step 4
Tap Prefs, then choose Modem to configure your modem settings.
-
Step 5
