How to Easily Make a Stormtrooper Costume

Star Wars lives forever in the hearts of many a child and adult. A stormtrooper costume is simple to create with a few supplies.This is a practical Halloween trick-or-treat costume for a child of any age. The costume also is appropriate for adults. May the force be with you.

Things You'll Need

• Old motorcycle helmet
• Plastic foam sheet, 1 yard
• Glow in the dark white acrylic paint
• White duct tape
• Scissors
• Rollerblading knee, elbow and wrist pads
• White tube socks
• Black pants
• Black long-sleeve T-shirt
• White sneakers

Instructions

1. Paint the motorcycle helmet white, leaving the eye holes clear. Paint two black circles on the bottom front.

2. Measure the costume wearer and cut the foam sheet into breast and back plates.The plates should cover the area from the shoulders to below the waist.

3. Cover the rollerblading knee, elbow and wrist pads with white duct tape.

4. Cut the ends off the white tube socks.

5. Put on the black pants, T-shirt and white sneakers. Layer the breast and back plates, attaching them with the white duct tape at the shoulders and under the arms.

6. Add the knee, elbow and wrist pads. Use the tube sock sections to cover the upper arms.
