How to Stuff Sofa Cushions
If you have had your sofa for a while, chances are the cushions have become lumpy and flat. Restoring the comfort and shape that your cushions once had is easy and may be done as needed for as long as you have the sofa. Since many cushions have an inconspicuous zipper, adding batting is easy to do. Does this Spark an idea?

Locate the zipper on each cushion. For seat cushions, the zipper is usually located on the top, which gets tucked against the sofa frame. The back cushions have zippers in the bottom portion, where they rest on the seat cushions.

Unzip the cushion. Add polyester fiberfill to the cushion, making sure to add fiberfill to the corners to retain the edges. Pack the cushion with fiberfill until it reaches the desired level of firmness.

Fill each flat cushion with additional fiberfill. If the surface looks lumpy after adding the filling, use both hands to gently pull apart the filling fiber to smooth the lumps down.
