How to Make a LEGO World
Legos are small interlocking plastic bricks and platforms that can be snapped together to form structures. The standard Lego is around 1/2 inch wide and 1 inch long, but they come in all sorts of shapes and colors. Lego sells kits to make specific items with detailed step-by-step instructions, and they sell mass quantities of blocks for those who are more creative. The wonderful thing about Legos is that there are so many pieces that you can build just about anything. To build your own Lego world, all you need is a little creativity. Anything you can imagine can be built out of Lego bricks.

Building a Lego World
-
1
Sort your Lego pieces. Separate your base plates and bricks by size and color so you can find what you need while building. This way, you won't have to go scrambling for pieces in the middle of building a Lego house.

2
Lay out your base plates to arrange the area you will build your world on. You can make it any size or shape you want. The bigger you want your Lego world, the larger you should make your base.
Once you have laid out your Lego base in the desired way, use smaller pieces to snap them together at the corners so that they do not fall apart when building.

Start building your Lego world. Now it is time to get creative; if you want a space world, build futuristic buildings. If you want a Lego jungle, use tree accessories and green bricks to make your platform become a forest. With the right accessories, you can build almost any type of set.
Start out by constructing one of the main features in your world. This way, you will be sure to have enough pieces to complete it. Experiment with the Lego bricks to make walls, steps and platforms for houses. If you would rather create a Lego mountain or rock, build a hollow, stable structure out of the desired color of Legos. If you don't think that you will have enough of the color you want, use less desirable colors for support in places that won't be seen.

Add finishing touches. Now that you have built all of your basic structures and features of your world, it is time to add accents. Lego sells special accessories like people, plants, tools and fire. Use these pieces to liven up your world and make it look habitable. There is no wrong way to make a Lego world; what you want to create is entirely up to you. When you get tired of the world you made, you can always take apart your pieces and start again.
