How To Submit a URL to Google for Free

If you created a website or blog and want to submit the URL to Google, it takes little time to do so and is free. It is useful to submit a URL to Google so it will be included in the search engine results. You only need to go to Google to get started.

Instructions

1. Point your browser to the Google "Add URL" Web page. You can submit your URL to Google for free here.

2. Type the website URL in the form next to "URL." Enter the complete address for the website.

3. Enter a brief summary or keywords for the website you are submitting in the form next to "Comments."

4. Enter the characters from the security image in the box underneath the image and click "Add URL" to submit your URL to Google for free.

Tips & Warnings

• You only need to submit the main URL for your website. For example, if your website has multiple pages, you only need to submit the root URL. You do not have to submit each page in your website.
