How to Install a Sears Bosch Dishwasher
Your Bosch dishwasher installation requires basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing connections. Start the installation off right by ensuring that fresh water and drain lines are in working order, and you have adequate space under the counter. Your Bosch dishwasher fits into a standard 24-inch wide and 34 inch high opening, which should allow you to remove and install a dishwasher without any modifications to the existing cabinets. Electrical Preparation

Turn power off at the breaker box.

Extend the electrical supply cable 21 inches from the left side of the dishwasher opening and 30 inches from the back wall.

Strip the outer casing of the electrical wire to expose three inches of inner wires. Strip one-half inch from each inner wire.
Dishwasher Assembly

Remove the toe panel from the rear. Tip the dishwasher on its back.

Loosen the leg levelers. Remove the junction box cover and discard the piece of protective foam.

Attach the elbow joint to dishwasher. Attach the hot water line to elbow and route underneath dishwasher toward the hot water connection, ensuring the hose does not contact any wiring.

Remove the strain relief plate. Flip the dishwasher upright.

Orient the drain hose toward direction of the sink and attach to the back of dishwasher with spring clamp.

Turn feet (clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower) and adjust dishwasher height to a level satisfactory with the counter. Insert leg leveler locking screw in back foot.
Dishwasher Installation

Slide the dishwasher in, while guiding the water line and drain hose toward the sink and the electrical line beneath the unit toward the junction box.

Attach strain relief to the strain relief plate and tighten the lock nut. Insert the electrical wires through the strain relief plate and tighten clamp. Place the strain relief plate into the junction box and reattach with the screw.

Insert the black wire into the terminal marked “L,” the white wire into the terminal marked “N” and the green wire into the terminal strip marked “G.” Securely tighten each terminal screw and replace the junction box cover.

Turn feet (clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower) and level the dishwasher. Insert leg leveler locking screws and tighten.

Place the screw clamp onto the drain hose. Attach hose to sink plumbing and tighten screw clamp.

Attach water line to hot water shut off valve. Turn on water and check for leaks. Turn power on at the breaker box.

Attach the toe panel, flush with the floor, to the dishwasher with screws.

Tips & Warnings
Flush the household hot water supply for two minutes before installing.
When installing the dishwasher in a corner, ensure the door clears cabinet hardware.
Do not over tighten the 90-degree elbow. Doing so may cause the water inlet valve to leak.
Do not allow the electrical and water supply lines to touch.
