How to Cancel a Credit Card From a Yahoo Voice Account

Yahoo Voice, a voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) product integrated into Yahoo Messenger, allows you to make low cost long-distance and international calls directly from your computer's desktop. Any charges incurred through this Yahoo premium service are charged on the credit card you have listed in the Yahoo billing section of your account. Due to changes in your finances or accounts, you may have to remove that credit card so that Yahoo Voice no longer attempts to charge it by accessing Yahoo billing.

Instructions

1. Go to the Yahoo billing page in your computer's Internet browser (see Resources for a link). Sign in using the user name and password associated with your Yahoo Voice account.

2. Hover your mouse pointer over "Payment Method" and click "Update" in the drop-down menu that appears.

3. Click "Delete" next to the credit card that you want to remove from the Yahoo billing system.

Tips & Warnings

• To replace the current credit card information with a new one, click "Add" to input new credit card information.

• Removing a credit card from Yahoo billing doesn't cancel the services associated with your yahoo account. Your Yahoo Voice account will stay open but you will be unable to use any service that requires payment.
