  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Gas can
  • Wrench set

Instructions

    • 1

      Locate the gas hose clamped to the base of the gas tank on the Tecumseh engine.

      Unscrew the clamp with the flat-head screwdriver and slide the clamp down the hose.

    • 3

      Pull the hose off and direct it into the gas can.

    • 4

      Locate the two bolts holding the bracket attached to the base of the gas tank to the engine frame. Unscrew the bolts with the proper wrenches and pull off the gas tank.
