How to Remove Kitchen Drawers
Kitchen drawers get a lot of use throughout the day. When they get stuck or out of alignment, they can be difficult to operate. Kitchen drawers ride on glides or a slide when opening. You will need to remove the kitchen drawer to inspect the drawer track and make repairs as necessary. Removing kitchen drawers will depend upon what type of slide system you drawer uses. Slides or tracks will either be on the sides of the drawer or on the bottom center of the drawer. Does this Spark an idea?

Pull the drawer out enough that you can grab the sides of the drawer. Attempting to pull a stuck drawer out completely by the drawer handle could cause damage to drawer handle or drawer face.

Grasp the sides of the drawer and pull it open until it stops. Empty the contents of the drawer to prevent dumping everything on the floor by accident.

Hold the middle sides of the drawer, lift the front of the drawer up slightly, if you have a track or runner on the bottom. Pull the drawer toward you and lift the back of the drawer slightly to disengage it from the center track.

Grab the side of the drawer and pull until it stops, if you have side rails on the drawer. The side rails have two stops. Lift up the front of the drawer and pull until the drawer stops the second time. You will see the roller near the rear of the drawer.

Lift the rear of the drawer to raise the roller above the track stop and pull the drawer away from the cabinet.
