A business proposal is a report created to elicit business from a potential client. Business proposals are usually 15 to 25 pages long. A business proposal explains why a person should choose your business over another. It shows a potential client exactly what your business has to offer. A lender may also request a business proposal before approving you for a loan.

      Write a market analysis section. Provide details about your field, competition and growth potential. You may use statistics or charts to support your information.
