How to Get Your GED Today
GED stands for General Educational Development. A GED certificate is issued to students who do not finish high school but pass a standardized test that covers many of the subjects that high school students would normally study, including mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. There is also an essay-writing section. Obtaining a GED is important because many jobs require that applicants hold at least a GED. Having a GED is also necessary to enter a college program, and adults may find that obtaining a GED sets a positive example for their families.
