Wild grass often grows in between the cracks in a driveway or the sidewalk, making it difficult to cut or remove. There are items that you may already have in your kitchen that will kill wild grass growing in undesirable places. Does this Spark an idea?

  • White vinegar
  • Water
  • Spray bottle

Instructions

    • 1

      Pour 1 cup of water into the spray bottle.

    • 2

      Add 1 cup of white vinegar.

    • 3

      Secure the top of the spray bottle and shake the mixture well.

    • 4

      Spray the solution directly onto the wild grass. Do not spray the solution on near-by plants that you want to keep alive. This solution is not selective and will kill any plants it contacts.

    • 5

      Pour pure vinegar on stubborn weeds that are deep rooted.

Tips & Warnings

  • To protect surrounding plants, cut off the top of a 1 gallon milk jug and place it upside down on top of the plants. Use a cardboard box for larger plants.
