How to Remove Adhesive Stickers Off Car Windows
Adhesive stickers and decals are used to show your support for a variety of things including a sports team, university, favorite cartoon character or favorite band. As time goes by, taste change or perhaps you have acquired a used car and do not want that sticker plastered onto the car window for the world to see. Removing stickers and decals from glass can be a difficult task. Fortunately, it is not impossible and can be accomplished with relative ease when following the right steps.
Things You'll Need
- Mild dish-washing liquid
- Water
- Bucket
- Sponge
- Glass scraper
- Degreaser safe for glass
- Soft cloth

Combine 1 gallon of warm water with 2 tsp. of a mild dish-washing liquid in a bucket.

Dampen a sponge in the warm, soapy water.

Saturate the sticker with the warm, soapy water using the sponge. Make sure the sticker is completely soaked with water.

Scrape the sticker off the car window with a glass scraper. Gently apply pressure while scraping.

Continue saturating and scraping the sticker until it is completely removed from the car window.

Clean the area with a degreaser safe for glass to remove any sticker residue that has been left behind. Rub the degreaser over the residue using a soft cloth.

Tips & Warnings
Test the glass scraper on an inconspicuous area of the window. If damage occurs, discontinue use.
