How to Check the Memory in a Palm Device

If you're thinking of installing a new Palm application, you may want to know how much memory your Palm device has, how much of that memory you've already used and how much memory individual applications are using. In addition, it may be useful to know the version numbers of both the Palm OS and the Palm applications. This eHow assumes you're using a Palm III or above.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Tap the Applications icon (Palm III) or House icon (above Palm III) to display the main Palm screen.

  2. Step 2

    Tap the Menu icon, then choose Info from the App menu. You'll see your free memory and total memory listed at the top of the Info box.

  3. Step 3

    Tap Records to see how many Records you've added in an application.

  4. Step 4

    Tap Version to see the version of the Palm OS as well as the versions of the different applications installed on your Palm.

  5. Step 5

    Tap Done to close the Info box.
