How to Load Music & Movies on an iPod

Whether you want to listen to a new hit single or watch an old classic movie, you'll need to know how to load music and movies on an iPod. Most current-generation iPods allow you to listen to music and watch movies. In order to do so, you'll need to know how to transfer files from your iTunes library to your iPod.

Things You'll Need

• iPod
• Dock connector to USB cable

Instructions

1. Connect your iPod to your computer using the dock connector to USB cable. An iPod icon should show up on the left side of the screen with your iPod's name next to it.

2. Click on "Music" under "Library" on the left side of the screen. Click and hold onto the files you want to add to your iPod and drag them over to your iPod icon on the left side of the screen. The music files will upload to your iPod.

3. Click on "Movies" under "Library" on the left side of the screen. Click and hold onto the files you want to add to your iPod and drag them over to your iPod icon on the left side of the screen. The movie files will upload to your iPod.

4. Click on the "Eject" button next to your iPod icon to safely remove your iPod.
