Tips & Warnings
When designating homes for the items in your kitchen, keep functionality in mind. Store like items together and store them nearest to where they will be used. For example, store cooking utensils near the stove, place coffee mugs in the cabinet nearest the coffee pot and arrange serving dishes as close as possible to the kitchen table or dining room.
Do not overfill your spaces, as this will defeat the purpose of your efforts to get organized and could result in more difficulty finding the items you need.
