Instructions

    • 1

Get to the spilled wax stain right away. The sooner you go to work, the easier it will be to remove the wax and the dyes in the wax.

    • 2

Scrape up as much wax as you can with a putty knife.

    • 3

Lay a terry towel over the entire spill area.

    • 4

Plug in an iron and set it to medium heat. Iron back and forth over the towel for several minutes or until the wax has been absorbed into the towel.

    • 5

Ball up the towel. Wipe the spill area clean with a fresh towel. If any stains from the wax dye remains, dampen a towel with white vinegar and polish the stain away in a circular motion.
