Tip

To make a wider scarf, wrap the yarn around more of the pegs on the loom. To make a thinner scarf, wrap the yarn around fewer pegs.

Step 2: Wrapping the Return Row

  1. On the last peg, wrap the yarn around twice.
  2. On each subsequent peg, wrap the yarn clockwise so that the bar between the pegs is on the back side of the loom.

Step 3: Knitting

  1. Use the loom pick to pull the bottom stitch up and over each peg, starting from the first stitch you wrapped toward the last.
  2. When you reach the end of the row, wrap the yarn around the last peg in the same direction of the previous row. Wrap all other stitches in the opposite direction of the previous row, always keep the bar between pegs on the inside of the loom.
  3. Knit until scarf reaches desired length.
