How to Create a Video Movie With Pictures & Music
Users can create movies with pictures and music by using Picasa, Google’s media management program. While the program specializes in photo organization and image enhancement, Picasa has modest video editing capabilities that can produce movies from picture files. Picasa is available for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. The software can be installed for free, but users can purchase upgrades to premium accounts for increased storage space and additional features.

Tips & Warnings
Since Picasa is a Google application, it has built-in support for publishing videos to YouTube. Users can do this by clicking the “YouTube” button in the movie viewing area.
While Picasa exports videos as WMV files, users are not limited to distributing their video in that format. Users can use file conversion programs to re-format their videos as MOV, MP4, FLV, AVI files and more.
Creating movies with protected music could amount to copyright infringement if you do not secure the necessary clearances to use the material, but people can avoid penalties by creating movies with free, unlicensed music.
