How to Make Your Own Business Cards With Car Designs
Business cards are inexpensive and easy to carry and hand out. According to BNET, they offer a way to "set someone apart in a crowded market." Time and thought should go into the design of business cards so that when the chance to hand one out presents itself, the card will not easily be lost and forgotten. There are several ways to design simple business cards with car images for an automotive business or hobby.

1
Decide which computer software you would like to use. Check the software on your home computer; most basic versions of Microsoft Office Suite offer a business card template. Also check an online software rating site to see what software is the highest rated and would best suit your needs. Be sure to compare costs of the different brands as well as ease of use. Some software may be available for a free trial download.

2
Create a "dummy card" by cutting an index card down to 2.5 inches by 3 inches (the normal size for business cards). Write in where you want your pertinent business information such as name, email, address, phone numbers and motto, as well as where you would like to position your graphics.

Choose what form of media you would like to use for your car design; it can be a drawing you have done yourself, photograph you have taken or clip art from your software. If you are using a drawing or photograph, scan or download it into your computer.

4
Design your business card with your software program using your "dummy card" as a prototype. Check to make sure your picture has scanned in correctly before you insert it into your business card. Most software programs have an option to "insert" a photo, normally located under the "Image" menu. Be sure the font is clear and legible, your words are spelled correctly and your picture is sharp.
