How to Change the SBC Parental Controls
SBC Communications Inc. is a global communications company that began as a telephone services provider before evolving into a multimedia conglomerate. SBC currently provides Internet services to millions of subscribers worldwide. The built-in features on SBC's Yahoo Internet browser allow parents to have greater control over the content that their children have access to online. Adjusting the SBC parental controls is intended to be as intuitive and easy as possible.

Open your SBC Yahoo Internet browser. There will be an "Online protection dashboard" near the top of the browser that you can click on.

Select your parental controls option from the menu at the top and enter your user name and password.

Click on the child's name whose profile you want to adjust.

Click on each of the child profile options to adjust the choices you wish to change. You can set the number of weekly hours your child spends on the Internet, set the age limit for the websites your child visits and turn on a report card that tells you when your child tries to access blocked content.

Save your choices when you are done and log out to make sure no one else can change your settings.

Tips & Warnings
Keep your parental controls password private and something that is difficult to guess so that your settings cannot be adjusted without your knowledge.
