How to Convert LP to MP3 With a Service
If you talked with your father or grandfather about the music they listened to in those times, the word "LP" will appear undoubtedly. Long-plays, hereby known as LPs, preceded the current CDs. LPs are made of vinyl, serve as a format for recorded music and are played on phonographs. Though LPs are now regaining in popularity, it is still difficult to find old LPs that haven't been subjected to damage and deterioration. However, there are external services that convert LPs to MP3 files, which can easily be saved in a CD.

Wait the required time for your LP to be converted. Remain Media will clean your LP record before converting it to the desired format. Your LP will go through a thoroughly designed procedure: your LP will be placed in computers connected to LP cases. Special software program (like Acoustica's spin it again software), cleans the record before extracting the music file from the LP disc. Once it's cleaned, the software program will extract the music file; and it will be tested inside a sound studio to see if the sound is playing properly.

Receive the USPS tracking number from the company once they finish converting your LP to MP3. You will use this number to retrieve your package once they send it back to you. Go to the Fedex-Kinkos, UPS, or the nearest postal service in your locality and ask for your package. Receive a package with a CD that contains your music file.

Tips & Warnings
When you send the LP to the Remain Media studios, you have to pay the shipping costs. However, when Remain Media studios send the CD containing the MP3 file to your shipping address, you don't have to pay anything.
Every time you consult an Internet service, read the information they provide about their business. If you consider this information as serious and trustworthy, include the website in your possible options.
If you want to make sure that the service is reliable, go to the Feedback section and read some of the client's feedback, thus you will know if the service is trustworthy or not.
A mono sound format comes from a monophonic sound system, where all the audio signals are mixed and routed through a single audio channel. On the other hand, a stereo sound format comes from two independent audio signals.
A common attempt of scamming is to offer free-services or low-priced services. Be careful with those, though. Free services are always the most expensive in the long run.
Don't pay attention to websites who are asking for your bank account number. If anything, ask them if you can send the payment by money order or PayPal.
