Included in the Microsoft Office suite of productivity products, its point-and-click interface helps users quickly create slides and then populate the slides with images, shapes, animations and transitions. PowerPoint also supports the insertion of tables on presentation slides. Changing the height of a table row is a quick task in all versions of PowerPoint, once you understand the required steps.

  • Open your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Single-click anywhere within your table to select it.

  • Hold the cursor over the bottom border of the row you want to change.

  • Click once, hold your click and drag until the dashed line reflects your desired row height.

  • Release your click to finalize the row height change.
