How to Make Racing Video Games
Video games have become a popular entertainment tool. They provide a way to pass the time when you are not in the mood to watch television, listen to music or perform any recreational activity. In fact, video game creation is becoming more popular as time progresses, and one of the leading game genres are racing games. To create racing video games, there are important steps to consider for the game to be fully functional and playable.

1
Write down the video game concept. Before even making a racing video game, you must analyze how the game will be implemented. For example, plan how many levels will be available, whether the racing game will have a minor or major storyline, if the game courses will take place in real-life cities or countries and what game modes will be available to play. Once your main ideas are planned, you are now ready to execute them.

2
Obtain a game programming tool. To put your racing game together, you have to learn how the game will be animated and how it will behave. Through game programming, you set the ground rules for your car's speed, the order of each course the player races, the intensity of collision detection against objects and obstacles, and any other special effects you desire to add.

3
Create all necessary game objects. To implement the objects available in all racing levels, you need to create them separately. There are 3-D modeling tools available that can assist you in creating and shaping all kinds of models, such as game characters, cars and secondary obstacles to accompany each racing course. From here, you can also create each level your car will race in.
-
4
Import all game objects into your programming language software. Since the programming application tells the game how to interact with game objects and character decisions, you need to point the programming tool to the objects you create. From here, you can set any scripts that define all object patterns within each course.
-
5
Test the final result. Make a rough draft of your first playable release. Once all objects in the game are put together through the programming tool, compile and export them into a single file, which is essentially the final version of the racing game itself. Launch the game to test any basic and advanced actions such as the car's racing speed, collision detection against other cars in the game world and any other effect you implemented throughout the coding process.
