How to Backup an Akai DPS16 SCSI Hard Drive
A hard drive is disk drive that is used by your computer to store data. If you own an Akai DPS16 SCSI hard drive, you may wish to backup the information located on your hard disk. Backing up a hard drive means to make a copy of the information on that hard drive. Backing up your hard drive is an easy operation that will take you around 30 minutes to complete.

Connect the USB flash drive to your computer by plugging it into a USB port. Windows will automatically detect the flash drive.

Open the “My Computer” icon located on your desktop and navigate to your Akai DPS16 SCSI Hard Drive.

Select the files on your hard drive you want to copy and right-click.

Select the “Send To” option and select your USB flash drive.

Allow for you computer to copy the files then left click on the flash drive icon in your system tray and select "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device.”

"Open the "My Computer" icon located on your desktop and navigate to your Akai DPS16 SCSI Hard Drive" This is where your explanation falls apart, because a PC has no way to interface with the AkaiDPS16's Hard Drive. -

Yea............. but how do you interface the AkaiDPS16's SCSI 50 pin connector to your computer? That's the tricky part.
