How to Share Access to a Calendar With Microsoft Outlook Web Access


Microsoft Outlook provides users with an email client that retrieves and sends communications over the Internet. Network administrators who manage Outlook clients on an Exchange server have the option to host Web mail, which allows users to log into an online interface that looks like the desktop software. The interface is called Outlook Web Access (OWA). You can share access to an Outlook calendar in OWA similar to sharing a calendar from the desktop.

  • Open your Web browser and log into your OWA account. Click your calendar icon on the left side of the OWA window.

  • Click "Tools" in the OWA screen and then click "Options." In the window that opens, click the "Delegates" tab.

  • Select each user with whom you want to share your calendar. The users shown are other users with permissions on the Exchange server. Click "OK" to save your changes and share the calendar.
