How to Drop Pins in Google Maps
In 2005, Google introduced its Google Maps feature, allowing Internet users to view maps, get step-by-step directions and find nearby attractions. This website allows users to save their own maps to plot out desired routes, add custom details and share with other users. Adding a pin, also known as a place mark, allows users to pinpoint areas of interest on a saved map.
