The IBM ThinkPad T43p is equipped with Bluetooth technology, which can be turned off or on as needed. This allows the user to use a wide variety of devices, from MP3 players to keyboards and mice. Although these devices may not be used when using the ThinkPad as a laptop, they can become invaluable when using a docking station with the T43p and using the laptop as a desktop machine.

- Drivers for the integrated Bluetooth
Boot up your laptop as normal.
Press the "Fn" key in the lower-left corner of the keyboard.
Press the "F5" key at the top of the keyboard while the "Fn" key is depressed.
Click the radio button next to "Turn On" to activate Bluetooth radio access. The Bluetooth function of the laptop will activate and be ready to access with any Bluetooth device.
