Press "Clock" to view the Lawn Genie's system time. Make sure the time displayed is accurate. If it's not, press "Hour" to set the hour, and then press "Min" to set the minute. Press "Clock" set the correct time.

Press the "Day" button to set your watering schedule. Press "Min" to cycle through your choices. You can choose "1" to water every day, "2" to water every other day, "3" to water every third day, and so on. The choices are "1" through "7." Press "Clock" to make your selection.

Press "Start" to set your daily start time. This works in conjunction with your daily watering schedule. Press "Hour" to set the starting hour; press "Min" to set the starting minute, and then press "Clock" to confirm. Pay attention to the "A" (a.m.) and "P" (p.m.) symbols next to the daily start time.

Press "Zone" to set your watering-run time. You can set a custom-run time for any zone (1 through 5) in your system. Press "Hour" to set the number of hours; press "Min" to set the number of minutes. Press "Clock" to confirm your run time. Press "Zone" to select a different zone, and repeat the process, if desired.
