How to Remove the Virus Encyclopedia
AVG's Virus Encyclopedia is a perpetually updating list of computer viruses and their defintions. It can be used to help you identify what type of virus your computer has. However, if you find the Virus Encyclopedia to be of little use, you may decide to remove it. This can be done easily and quickly, and will also free up some space on your computer's hard drive.

Click the "Start" button on your computer's desktop. Navigate to the "Control Panel" icon and click to open it.

Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon.

Scroll down the list until you find the Virus Encyclopedia program. Click it once to highlight it. Click the "Change/Remove" button to uninstall the program. Click "Yes" when a pop-up dialog box asks you if you're sure you want to uninstall.

Restart your computer for the removal to be completed. When your computer restarts, your Virus Encyclopedia will be gone.
