How to Register My Website With Different Search Engines
Internet search engines use robots, or Web crawlers, to automatically scour the Internet for content to add to their listings. Any website created on the Internet will automatically be a candidate for detection by these crawlers and added to results listings. It is also possible to submit a website address directly to a search engine. In North America, the top three search engines are Google, Bing and Yahoo.

2
Create a "robots.txt" file in your website's main directory. This file can be simply created by using any text editor, such as Notepad, and including the following text on two lines: "User-agent: *" on the first line and "Disallow:" on the second line. Place this file on your Web server in the root directory (not in any sub-folder). Search engines look for this file when indexing websites.

Practice good search engine optimization techniques. Your website will automatically be indexed by search engines if you include keywords about your topic, link to other websites that have similar content, update your content more often and create several pages under your domain. Web crawlers will pick up this content automatically.
