If you need to browse the web while away from home, there are many businesses that offer free wireless Internet that you can connect to and use at no charge. If you have a Wi-Fi enabled laptop or other mobile device that has a wireless Internet card, you will be able to take advantage of free wireless Internet hotspots and will be able to access the Internet for free.

Visit a public library and use its free wireless Internet access. Many libraries offer free Wi-Fi for their members. Go to the front desk to get a library card and find an available computer to use to surf the Internet for free. If you have a laptop, take your laptop with you to the library and log into the library's wireless network.

Use free wireless Internet at airports. If you are traveling, take your laptop or mobile device with you, as you can browse the Internet while waiting for your flight.
