How to Remove Internet Options & Restriction Policies in Windows XP

Keeping Internet security options and restrictions enabled on your Windows XP computer is a good idea if you have children in the house, but you may want to remove those restrictions if you no longer have the need. You can do this by modifying your Internet security options from within Internet Explorer.

Instructions

1. Click "Start" and click "Programs."

2. Open "Internet Explorer."

3. Click "Tools" and click "Internet Options."

4. Click "Content" and click "Disable."

5. Enter your password and press "OK" to remove Internet content restrictions.
