How to Install Windows-95 on Virtual PC 2007

Instructions

1. Click \"Start,\" \"Programs,\" and open \"Virtual PC 2007.\"

2. Click the Virtual PC to which Windows 95 is to be installed, and click \"Start.\"

3. Insert the Windows 95 CD into the drive and press any key to boot from CD. This will take you to a DOS prompt.

4. Type \"x:\\setup\" and press \"Enter,\" replacing \"x\" with the drive letter of your CD drive.

5. Press \"Esc\" to skip the \"scandisk\" scan. Press \"Yes\" to accept the license terms and \"Next\" to start the installation.

6. Choose the \"C:\\Windows\" directory as the installation directory and select the option for a \"Typical\" installation.

7. Enter your CD key and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation, inputting your network information, computer name, and settings. Click \"Finish\" when the process completes to reboot and start Windows 95 for the first time.
