How to Recover & Find Deleted Files With Freeware
There are few computer-related horrors that can match the moment after accidentally striking the delete key. Important photos, saved emails or work can be erased with a quick lapse in typing or by leaning on the wrong part of the keyboard. Data recovery can be expensive, but there is free software available for Windows and Mac OS X that can perform low-level recovery attempts or at least a preliminary scan to make sure recovery is possible. When a file is deleted, do not panic. What is lost can sometimes be recovered.
