How to Create a Podcast & Powerpoint
Creating a podcast (a broadcast series of audio or video files released on the Internet for use on an MP3 player or other mobile device) using PowerPoint involves creating your presentation and developing a script to narrate. Using a tool such as Windows Media Encoder to record and save the file in the WMV file format, for example, you can then upload to websites such as YouTube for distribution, or you can create DVDs. Using podcasts to communicate announcements, events and training allows you to make use of a popular, flexible mechanism to reach a wide audience.

Play your output file to test it. You can also record the audio from your PowerPoint file using a free tool such as Audacity, and you can export the file in the MP3 file format.
