How Can I Get Older Versions of Limewire?

Get an older version of LimeWire.

LimeWire is an application that allows users to share files and content. At times, especially when you are running older operating systems such as Windows XP and Windows 2000, you may be unable to download and install older versions of the software. Do not fret however, a couple of websites have older versions of LimeWire available to download and install.

Instructions

1. Go to the LimeWire page on the Old Apps or Download Old Version websites.

2. Click the link of the version that you want to download if you choose to go to the Download Old Version page. It will begin the download process.

3. Click the link of the version that you want to download if you choose to go to the Old Apps page. Hit the "Download" link and then click the "Download Limewire X" link at the top of the page.

4. Click the "Run" or "Open" button so the software downloads and installs on your system immediately.

5. Find the .exe file on your desktop and double-click it if the install does not start automatically after the download. Follow the prompts to install the software.
