How Do I Add My URL for Free to Search Engines?
With so many commercial website-promotion services available, it's easy to forget that most major search engines allow Internet users to add their URL, or Internet address, to their databases free of charge. Such search engines include Bing, Yahoo! and Google. Adding your URL, or Uniform Resource Locator, to major search engines increases the chances of Internet users finding your home page. If you run a business online, this can be very helpful in expanding your clientele.
