How to Clear CHKDSK From Running After a Reboot
CHKDSK is a Windows utility that runs on the computer whenever there is a problem with a hard drive. If your computer is repeatedly attempting to run the CHKDSK program when you boot, you can disable it by running a command through the Windows command prompt. Be aware, however, that if you don't allow CHKDSK to fix the problem, it could get worse.
