How to Make Beats Online With an Online Beat Machine
If you want to record your own beats but don't have the money to throw down for a studio, you can use the service of a free online beat machine. These "machines" allow users to experiment with various beat types to put together their own music lines. One of the major benefits of using an online beat machine is that you don't have to carry around or learn to master an old-school electronic beat machine.

Open your Internet browser and go to one of the free online beat machines using the links in the References.

Access the beat maker. Begin by experimenting with the different beat types that are available. You can control the beats by clicking on either the small row of piano keys or the percussion pads inside the beat machine.

Adjust the tempo number at the top of the screen to keep your beats consistent. When you have an idea of what you'd like to do for your first line, click on the "Record" button and recreate your beat. The tempo beat will not follow through to the final product.

Save the finished track in the first available slot in the beat machine. You can create and layer up to 16 different tracks and combine them to make a song when you are through. Control the volume for each track using the track dials in the machine.

Save your completed song to your computer by clicking the "Save" option. This will download the song to your computer as an MP3 file.
