Remove any oil or gas that may be in the engine. Locate the drain plug by finding their respective tanks. A small screw will be on the bottom. This is the drain plug. Place a pan under the plug and unscrew the plug. Drain all the liquid and dispose of it at a recycling facility or a facility that handles gas and oil.

Turn the mower on its side. Under the deck will be the mower blade. In the center of blade will be a bolt keeping the blade attached to the mower.

Unscrew the bolt with the wrench. Pull the wrench and washer off the arbor. Afterwards, slide the blade off.

Place a new blade on the arbor and lock it into place with the washer and bolt. Tighten the bolt with the wrench.

Fill new oil and gas into the mower before use.

Tips & Warnings
Clean the underside of the deck to protect the blade from rust.
If you do not drain the oil, it may leak into parts of the motor that it should not be in, causing malfunctions.
